5 Attitudes for Success in 2010 in Your MLM, Network Marketing and Direct Sales Business

1. Be Coachable/Teachable:

MLM, Network Marketing and Direct Sales business are all about people helping people. You need to make every effort to stay in touch with your upline/sponsor. ASK if you need help, remember your upline/sponsor does not read minds, they don’t know that you need help.

To acquire the most from others experience, knowledge and success, you need to be willing to learn, to be open to new ideas and be willing to be a part of the team. Be a team player.

Remember do not judge yourself to others success because people take different lengths of time to achieve their goals.


2. Be Duplicatable:

Randy Gage says, "Success without duplication is merely future failure in disguise."

It’s important to keep your business SIMPLE. Keep in mind that there are a lot of people who would love to share and use your products and/or to earn a living from the great opportunity your MLM, Network Marketing or Direct Sales business offers.

If your presentation is or looks to difficult you will lose your prospect because they will feel they can’t possible do the same thing. They will not think they have that ability. Us the SYSTEM your company, upline/sponsor has put together. Do not reinvent the wheel so to speak. Offer simplicity – something anyone can do!


3. Step Outside of your Comfort Zone:

I love the book by Susan Jeffers, “Feel the Fear, and Do It Anyway.” What she is saying is to get outside of your comfort zone. Each time you do and accomplish something that scares you or your fear you have just expanded your comfort zone.  Make the world your comfort zone. You can do it!

I understand all too well about doing something new, it might make you feel uncomfortable! Don’t worry, this is not a feeling of uneasiness, it’s your personal and professional levels expanding in the direction of growth. Enjoy this new personal and professional growth and keep expanding your comfortable zone.

You have to be willing to try something new! Scared? Don’t be. Feel the fear and do it anyway!


4. Be Yourself:

You are unique and fantastic! MLM, Network Marketing and Direct Sales are all business that are built on building relationships. The best manner to build relationships is to make sure that your own style and love for what you do shows through everything you say and do.

You are involved in MLM, Network Marketing or a Direct Sales business and you want to grow your business, you need to remember not to just push your business but build the relationship first and your business will grow. When you meet people either in person or on one of the social network sites they don’t know you, they don’t have a relationship with you at this time. This business is all about relationshipping!

Bring out the best in others, by helping others to succeed and your success is guaranteed.

Enjoy your journey and others will also.


5. Be the Example:

You an upline/sponsor need to be a great example for your team and prospects. What you say, what you do and how you act in response to challenges or change is capable of affecting your business in either a positive or negative manner.

When building your team in your MLM, Network Marketing or Direct Sales business your team and others will look to you first to see how you handle different situations.

Remember positive words, positive attitudes and positive actions will affect your pay check in a very positive manner!
